My life has always been intertwined with good and bad influences. However, God loves me so much that He has kept bringing me more and more of the good to overcome the bad. While in junior high, I was baptized and sang in the church choir. I loved singing for God! As a married mother of two, my father called on me to come and learn the family’s insurance business; to help, protect, and preserve our small rural community in their desperate times of need. Decades later I was in a terrible accident, it put me in a coma for 2 months. When God brought me back, I was a new person with a new life. I realized that while in a coma, God had been keeping me by His side in my favorite scripture Psalms 23…”laying down in the green pastures beside the still waters…”. God let me know that He still needs me here to do work for Him. I always will reciprocate my love for Jesus as He has love for me.

I have always known since I was a young child growing up in Ohio, there was something special waiting for me. Most of my time as a youth was spent working hard for my neighbors like mowing grass, washing cars, cleaning gutters, shoveling snow, you know kids stuff lol! But as I grew older, I realized that my purpose was to always do more for less reward or acknowledgement. The more work I was capable doing for others, the less I would take in return for payment. It became a normal practice and I never questioned it. Now, I am turning 60 years old and God has shown me His plan that He laid out for me long ago when I was a child. Jesus called out to me, “Prepare The Way for My Return.” Now, I finally know…it was all done for HIM!
It is all done because of HIM! The Truth has always been inside me even as a young child, guiding me to Salvation and now I am receiving His message clearly, “Martin, you’re almost there keep on working”. I know what my reward is…it’s eternal life with Him! John 3:16
